I am an non athlete. Can I also participate in Himalayan Outdoor Festival?
Yes, non athletes are also heartily welcome to our event since we have encouraged this event to serve as a platform to showcase of outdoor lifestyle and there will be plenty of leisure activities to try out.


Is there any entrance fee?

If you are a HOF athlete you get free entrance to the venue. But for non participants the entry fee is Rs 300 on Friday and Rs 500 on Saturday.


What are the leisure activities that I can try out?

The free leisure activities that are available are rock climbing, zipline, horizontal bungee, slack line, wall climbing, tyre flip.


I have a family and kids. Can I join the festival along with them?

Yes please. We provide various leisure activities and also have kids corner which includes Trampoline, Bouncy Castle, Bubbles, Horse Riding.

What are the activities on Sunday?
The main events happening on sunday are XC eliminator race and Hash Run along with the regular leisure activities.


Is there any shuttle service for HOF?

Yes, we have shuttle service on Friday 2 pm from Sorahkhutte to Kakani. (For registered athletes only.)


Will there be shuttle bus also on Saturday from Kathmandu and back?

Yes there will be a shuttle service on Saturday from Jawlakhel at am via the route Pulchwok, Thapathali, Tripureshwor, Thamel, Lainchaur, Sorakhutte, Balaju and to Kakani. The same bus will leave Kakani at 5 pm on Saturday back to Kathmandu. (For registered athletes only.)


Are we allowed to bring our own food or foods from outside?

No, bringing food from outside is strictly prohibited.
