Runner will be using their headlamps and race in the dark all the way uphill from the main road to the festival spot.

This run will take the participant through the pine trees on single tracks and some rocky trails. There are some steep ascending and descending. The runners will face all the challenges involved in trail running and the distance is suitable for beginners.

10km of trails through the pine trees and down towards Pharphing. There are some steep climbing and descending on the trails, but it a fun trail. There will be a water station along the way.

This run will take the participant uphill, climbing to Champa Devi and then down to the monastery site. This is strictly a single track until the monastery. The runners will face all the challenges involved in trail running. The run will be about 25 km.

Natural rocks on the Hattiban consist of 12 different routes with different levels of difficulties. Climbing professional will be set up an obstacle course. Safety/basic introduction will be provided on site for climbers.

Dyno is a climbing move in which the climber jumps or moves dynamically from one hold to another. A move used on steep rock to take the weight off your arms. The feet are placed on two separate footholds and one leg is rotated so the knee is pointing towards the other leg.

An artificial bouldering wall will be put up at the event area. Here anyone can come along and experience bouldering under the watchful eye of our trained supervisors.

Fun filled race for kids on the festival. Where they will race on the most visible spot of the festival with full attention and motivation from the crowd.

Downhill Individual (DHI) is a genre of mountain biking on steep, rough terrain that often features jumps, drops, rocks and other obstacles.

Cross Country focuses more on distance and endurance over technical challenges of negotiating difficult terrain or complex, obstacle-ridden downhills.

A fun race on the first day of the festival will surely be a great start. Riders will be using their headlamps to cycle in the dark all the way uphill from the main road to the festival site, where the crowd will be cheering you over the finish line.

This is a mountain bike race format where four riders compete against each other in a circuit of around 900 meters to 1 km. The top two riders after each competition goes to the next round.

This is a fun activity aimed to amuse the outdoor loving crowds at HOF 8. A bungee cord is tied to a stationary wall or trees, and on the other end competitor tries to go as far as possible against the elastic cord.

Tall pine trees and slackfline fun.

Trampoline is a device consisting of a piece of taut, strong fabric stretched between a steel frame using many coiled springs. People bounce on trampolines for recreational and competitive purposes.

We will be screening films from the Adventure Film Festival, which has been brought in Nepal from Boulder Colorado. AFF is one of the most recognized Adventure focused film festival in the world. And is generating lots of interest here in Nepal. Our aim is also to put Nepal’s adventure scene at one of AFF screenings. This year we will screening two of our Nepali adventure films which were screened at Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival.
